I recently stayed at the Gruene Outpost River Lodge for a weekend getaway. The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing, right on the Guadalupe River. The staff was the friendliest and most accommodating I have encountered. The amenities were fantastic, with everything you need and even some extra touches like a kitchenette and top-quality linen. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, with super clean rooms and fresh sheets and towels. Additionally, the value for the price was extremely competitive, making it an excellent choice for any traveler.

Beautiful location with access to the river. Loved the live music at night as well as the places to cook and picnic under the huge shade trees. The swimming pool was clean and comfortable. Will be back with grands next time.

The location of this hotel was fantastic! I was able to rent tubes right on the property and they even provided transportation to the "put-in" location. The staff was extremely accommodating and made sure that my mother, who is handicap, had a room on the first floor. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel had great amenities, including a kitchenette and picnic tables. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, with new sheets and towels provided daily.
